Going with a very warm atmosphere for my club, wooden plank flooring all around. I think I’ll be darkening the general area and adding neon lights to the map soon, as well as labels. Surrounding the stage are large tables which would be movable as well as the seating. The stage is also movable, being able to be shifted from being outward, to along the wall for strip shows or musical performances respectively. There is a large area behind the stage for all variety of costume area needs, even performances in acting when available. Behind the bar is a storage area, staff toilets and the cold room. There is accommodation within the club down the bottom left for dancers and staff that have no other place to live (common among Wyrmwreyn that are not accepted in society, or even among their own kind).

Posters Again
•October 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentBack working on posters again, finished this one in a rather short amount of time because it’s a simple concept that’s been done before. I’m going to do up a map of the club after this post, because I think it’s necessary for me, as a designer and illustrator, to know what the club I’m working for looks like!

Finished Poster #2
Inspiration
I don’t think I need to supply references because everyone’s seen this kind of thing, but here we go:
Billboards in their natural environment
•October 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentExamples of how the billboards would look on a wall or on the side of a bus stop. They’d obviously stand out from the grimy walls of the city as something fresh, classy and elegant; which is what the club represents. The billboard on a corner is a simple way to do a billboard where you see one part of an advertisement, followed by the “punchline”. Either way that the cars are coming I feel provides this two step advertising.
Billboard
•October 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentI’ve created two billboards, less subtle than I was intending… but as I’d found some wonderful free vectors I figured, why not? It was relaxing to use a vector drawn by someone else for a change, and saved me a lot of time, and has also saved me the embarrassment of having to look at reference to draw the vectors from while in SoCA.
Using vectors from http://all-silhouettes.com, a wonderful website providing vectors for free for personal or commecrial use.
“All Silhouettes featured here are copyright of their respective owners. But as long as I’m the author of most of presented silhouettes feel free to use them as you wish: for personnel or commercial purposes, you can to copy, distribute and transmit the work (don’t forget to post back links to All-Silhouettes.com. But you are not allowed to sell this silhouettes on stock sites, and if you use them to create an Illustration you have to distribute it for free.”

3D Logo
•October 3, 2009 • Leave a CommentI’ve been having some troubles with my banner size so I finished my 3D logo instead, it’s possible I’ll change it but for the moment it’s staying as is.
The entirety of the video was created in Photoshop CS4 and After Effects CS4. It was an awesome learning experience, it was incredibly exciting to create something that moves, even if it takes longer~
As follow are the parts used in the video:
